Welcome to Fotogenic, a photographic company launched in 2004 by potrait and wedding photographer Alicja Jaskiewicz based in Glasgow, Scotland. Alicja was born in 1977 in Poland and completed her education in the European Academy of Photography in Warsaw. She has been working as a potrait and wedding photographer for ten years, gaining experience in Europe, United States and Mexico. Thanks to her strong background in art photography, her unique vision and creativity Alicja's photographs expose people's natural beauty. She created her signature Fotogenic style composed of a unique blend of fine art, photojournalism and portraiture.Her approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, capturing the impromptu moments that will give you everlasting beautiful photographs of highest standards. Alicja works with private, corporate and editorial clients ( "Newseek" and "Marie Claire") but also carries on her personal projects; her photographs have been published and exhibited internationally. Alicja is available to travel UK wide and overseas. In 2005 a second photographer - Michael joined Fotogenic to cover expanding number of inquiries. Michael was born in 1981. After finishing Architectural studies in Poland he worked as an architect in Poland and Scotland. Before joining Fotogenic he studied Fine Art Photography in Glasgow School of Art. He has been working as a freelance photographer for 6 years in Poland as well as in New York. Having experience in fine art photography his strong points are composition and innovative way of picture taking. His attention to detail and technical skills give you high standard professional pictures that will last a lifetime. Working in a photojurnlasitic relaxed way capturing the spirit of your special day. In Fotogenic Michael is also responsible for graphic works together with design and production of our special products. His work was published in various magazines e.g.“Computer Arts”,“Capricious” as well as exhibited internationally (Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, Art Basel-Switzerland). Michael is available to travel UK wide and overseas. |
